What is a guardian family?
A guardian family raises and loves a breeding dog in their home, but the breeder retains the right to use
the dog for breeding for a specified amount of time. At Bear River Doodles when the dog has finished his/her breeding
career the dog is neutered or spayed and ownership transfers to the guardian family. Females will come to my home to
deliver and raise the puppies. Males will be on call for stud jobs and may be asked to be on site for puppy selection
days. You will also be asked to attend romps with your dog.
